Yesterday, May 9th, we enjoyed the 8th version of our Spelling Contest, which was hosted for the first time by Maitenes School.
There were 5 schools participating; La Cruz, Everest, Highlands, Cumbres and Maitenes.
During the contest children skillfully spelled words making their best to concentrate and not to skip letters, the audience followed silently their spelling and cheered their schoolmates.
Our school won 1st place in five of the six categories and a second place in 1st grade.
